Strengths
- The M60 has a higher damage output at close distances than the Lewis Gun.
- The M60 has the second largest magazine size in the game, being able to fire for 7 seconds. This magazine size is only beaten by the M134 Minigun.
- For total firing time, it is beaten by the Flamethrower and M134 Minigun.
Weaknesses
- The M60 has more extreme damage falloff, leaving the Lewis Gun the better choice for longer range engagements.
- The M60 has a longer reload than most heavy weapons, to compensate for the magazine size.
How to use it
- Firing should always be done while aiming down sights, unless the target is extremely close. Doing so greatly increases the accuracy of the M60.
- An M60 user should plan ahead for a tactical reload while firing, since the reload makes for a long downtime. Usually, the M60 can outlast any opponent, meaning the opponent will be out of ammunition well before the M60 user needs to reload.
- Generally, you should only reload the M60 after you have eliminated nearby contestants, or if you have less than 20 bullets.
