THE FINALS ranked at a glance

Ranked in THE FINALS is Ranked Cashout: eight teams of three play a knockout tournament, and your result against your seed moves your Rank Score (RS). Climb through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond (four divisions each, 2,500 RS apart) to reach Ruby, the top 500 players.

All ranks and RS thresholds

Each league has four divisions, numbered 4 (lowest) to 1 (highest). Every division starts 2,500 RS above the last. These thresholds are the current values from the official wiki; the 12.0.0 patch notes list no threshold changes.

Ranked rewards

Ranked rewards are cosmetic and change every season. You earn them for the highest league you reach, they are granted after the season ends, and you keep them if you drop later. Ruby is the exception: you must finish the season in the top 500.

Best loadouts for ranked

Ranked locks your build for the tournament and only lets you swap reserves between rounds, so pick a loadout that covers fights, objectives and revives. These are the top-rated build per class in our current meta data (rated on the Season 11 balance). Each class page lists full alternatives and reserves.

Cloak Recon

Light

Gateway, Glitch Grenade, H+ Infuser. Stealth flanker with a safe route, utility denial and burst healing.

Frequently asked

What are the ranks in THE FINALS?

There are six ranked leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Ruby. The first five each have four divisions (4 is the lowest, 1 the highest), and every division is 2,500 Rank Score (RS) apart, from Bronze 4 at 0 RS to Diamond 1 at 47,500 RS. Ruby has no RS threshold: it is the top 500 players on the ranked leaderboard.

How does Rank Score (RS) work in THE FINALS?

Each ranked tournament seeds the eight teams by matchmaking rating. Finishing better than your seed earns more RS and finishing worse costs more RS, so a top seed that loses early drops more than a bottom seed that does. Since Season 11, a personal performance bonus adds RS based on your performance grade and current tier; it matters most around Silver and Gold and is very small at high ranks.

How many placement matches are there in THE FINALS ranked?

Four. You play four placement tournaments at the start of a season to set your starting Rank Score, then climb or drop from there.

What do you get for ranked in THE FINALS?

Rewards are cosmetic and depend on the highest league you reach during the season; you keep them even if you drop later. Since Season 9: a badge background at Bronze 4, upgrades at Silver 4, a Gold reward coin at Gold 4, a Platinum coin at Platinum 4, a Diamond coin and emblem at Diamond 4, a second Diamond coin at Diamond 1 (added in Season 11), and a Ruby coin, sticker and charm for Ruby. Ruby rewards require finishing the season in the top 500, and rewards are granted after the season ends.

Is ranked changing in Season 12?

Yes, in pace more than in rules. The 12.0.0 patch notes (October 20, 2026) make Ranked Tournament and Cashout Vaults open in 10 seconds instead of 20, spawn 5 seconds after their location is revealed instead of 15, lengthen Cashout rounds from 9 to 9.5 minutes and shorten the final round from 20 to 14 minutes. RS lost to server crashes or disconnects is now refunded automatically. Health is now Light 175, Medium 250, Heavy 325. The notes list no rank threshold or ranked reward changes.
